My Take

Astro Bot's dominance wasn’t entirely unexpected — it’s the rare blend of innovation and charm that appeals to a broad spectrum of players. However, seeing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 claim Best PS4 Game does feel like a bittersweet farewell to the console generation. Meanwhile, Fortnite continues to prove it’s a cultural juggernaut in gaming.

On a lighter note, as much as Astro Bot deserves the accolades, part of me chuckles imagining that its seamless DualSense integration is now the yardstick for immersive gaming. Perhaps one day, every controller will make you feel like you're genuinely dodging lasers in a digital jungle. Until then, here's to another year of incredible gaming moments.
